Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2026, the prestigious fashion event held from November 6-9, 2025, recorded total transactions of US$19.51 million, equivalent to Rp 265.23 billion. This achievement far exceeded the initial target of US$10 million.

Budi explained that international buyers from Malaysia, France, Italy, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Sudan also participated in the event. Their involvement opened up broader market opportunities for local designers and producers.
According to him, the 11,459 visitors to JMFW 2026 also demonstrated the high level of public enthusiasm. The presence of 242 exhibitors also enriched the selection of Muslim fashion products on offer, thereby strengthening the domestic fashion ecosystem and encouraging sustainable innovation.
"JMFW 2026 can stimulate the domestic fashion ecosystem as a whole. This will not only be achieved through direct transactions but also through the exchange of ideas and capacity building of business actors. This event will be a key driver for designers and Muslim fashion MSMEs to continue innovating," he added.
Previously, Head of Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM), Parulian Tampubolon appreciated the JMFW 2026. Moreover, the event also involved fashion MSMEs.
"Hopefully JMFW will have a very significant positive impact, especially on the economic cycle of fashion business actors," he hoped.
